History of Unified Family of Companies

Unified is a diverse company with three unique business ventures; Unified Cleanroom Construction, LLC, Unified Cleanroom Products, and Unified Building Systems.  Unified Cleanroom Construction, LLC has become a leader in the Cleanroom construction.  Unified Cleanroom Products is the sole U.S. supplier of Danica products, and Unified Building Systems has long been a significant force in the construction of Cold Storage facilities.

Unified Building Systems was founded by Rich Schoenberg, President and Managing Partner, with one small crew in 1993 when he set out to create a full-service low-temperature construction company. He developed professional crews and a management team that implemented the highest standards of integrity, performance, and reliability.  As a result Unified Building Systems quickly became well known throughout the Chicago area for providing high quality structures at competitive prices.  Unified Building Systems experienced great growth and soon began to construct cold storage buildings nationwide.  Throughout this growth process Unified Building Systems continued to develop relationships that have passed the test of time.

In 1998, Brad Lipscomb, Director of Construction and Estimating, joined the company and Unified expanded in to the Cleanroom construction. A new branch of the company was created call Unified Cleanroom Construction, LLC.  Unified Cleanroom Construction is a full service cleanroom installation company that installs modular cleanroom systems to the highest level of pharmaceutical and governmental standards.  Unified Cleanroom Construction offers competitive pricing, clean build ready, on-time delivery, excellent quality, an outstanding safety record, and has developed a high level of customer satisfaction.

Unified Cleanroom Products supplies panels and other products to the Unified family and to other similar companies.  Unified Cleanroom Products is the sole U.S. supplier of Danica panels and products in the United States.  Danica Corporation has been a leader in turn-Key Clean Room Systems with approximately 35 years of experience in thermal insulation. Danica operates in three main regions: (1) Europe, (2) Central/North America and (3) South America and is currently the absolute leader in for Cleanrooms, Industrial Cold Stores, Supermarkets & Commercial Cold Stores, and Civil Construction in Latin America.
